Career Highways Profile Updates

• Easier Skill Recognition. When you upload your resume, our system now recognizes and adds more of your skills to your profile automatically. This makes it easier for you to showcase your strengths without extra work.
• Flexible Academic Experience. When you add or update your academic background, it’s now optional to fill in the School District field. This makes the process faster and simpler.
• Improved Writing Suggestions. Our Scout AI feature is smarter than ever, providing more natural writing suggestions and eliminating first-person language.
• Other Improvements. You’ll notice small improvements to wording and visuals throughout the Career Highways interface, creating a more delightful experience.

Resume and Document Enhancements

• Improved PDF Resume. We’ve made minor improvements to create clarity and enhance the visual appeal of your PDF Resume.

Job Search Improvements

• Enhancements to Job Details: Minor updates to Job descriptions.
• Updated Job Sorting: We made changes to ensure the most relevant opportunities will appear at the top of your list.

Account and Profile Improvements

• Easier Account Creation on Mobile: On your phone, the option to create an account is now easier to find at the top of the landing page.
• Updated Interests Profiler: We’ve updated the interest profiler to create a better user experience.
• One Time Passcodes via Text Messaging: Users can now receive verification codes by text message.

Resume Upload & Editing

• Enhanced Resume Uploads: Improvements to resume parsing.
• Recognizing More Achievements: If your resume lists volunteering or achievements, these will now be captured and added to your profile automatically.
• Improved Work Experience Editing: When editing your work experience, you’ll now see clear visual cues if any information needs to be corrected, whether you’re typing manually or uploading from your resume.
• More Detailed Work Descriptions: You can now enter more details-up to 1,500 characters-when describing your work experience.
• Improved Resume Preview: Descriptions for your work experience will now show up as bullet points in the PDF preview of your resume, making it easier to read.

General Updates

• Consistent Wording & Visuals: Various small updates have been made throughout the app to improve wording and appearance for a smoother experience.
• Expanded Skills List: If your resume includes skills we haven’t seen before, they’ll be added for review, helping us keep our skills database up-to-date.

Resume Processing & Profile Management

• Skills Extraction: Introduced support for extracting skills from resumes. The Edit Skills modal will now appear at the end of the resume upload process, extracting skills from your resume.
• Profile Properties: Added the following profile properties: Volunteering & Achievements, Clubs & Organizations, References.
• Resume Upload: Updated the functionality to extract Industry/Vertical and Knowledge, Language & Abilities skill types in My Profile.
• AI Suggestions: Introduced AI Suggestions feature when editing the About Me and Work Experience descriptions in My Profile.

User Interface Enhancements

• Visual & Feature Updates: Multiple visual and feature updates to the My Career Highways page.
• Modal Dialog Improvements: Various improvements to modal dialogs across the app.
• OTP Entry Field: The OTP entry field will now be shown in the new side panel when creating an account from the Create an Account panel on the landing page.

• Onboarding Survey: New users and existing users will now be prompted to take a 3-step onboarding survey after logging in and will be directed to more personalized pages based on your responses.
• Our Featured Employers’ and Talent Providers’ Jobs and Programs will now be marked as Featured throughout the site, including in Explore and Detail pages, Featured Jobs / Programs carousels, as well as when adding them to a Career Step in My Career Highways.
